Chamber Music Club March 28

Saturday 28 March 2015

Time: 2- 4.30pm
Venue: St Cuthberts
Anyone can come along to our club. Simply sign up and you will be put in a group and sent some music to prepare. At the club, you will work on the music together and receive help from a professional tutor. Lots of fun! No performance involved.

Send an email if you would  like to come along and make your payment by Friday 20 March (details below).
If you would like to bring your own group including non double reed players, you are most welcome. Just bring your own music to work on. The maximum cost for a group such as this is $100 regardless of how many people, as long as one person is an NZDRS member.

Cost: 
NZDRS members: adults $30, school /university students, $5      
Non members: adults $35, school/university students $10
(Non members are invited to come along to one session at member's rates)

It runs regular performer’s evenings, masterclasses and other workshops throughout the year.  The NZDRS is excited to announce the fourth ever Oboe and Bassoon Competition. Performers are to send in video recordings of their performance, which will be judged by oboist Helen Clinton and bassoonist Justin Sun. There are three categories; Beginner, Intermediate, and Open, and prizes for each of these categories for both Oboists and Bassoonists! Our first reed making class of 2021 is coming up in February!

  This is for double reed players of all levels to learn and improve their skills at making and adjusting their own reeds. 2pm - 4pm  February 13th Auckland Philharmonia Hall, St Albans Ave Oboe reed making with Camille Wells for long scrape and Martin Lee for short scrape. Bassoon reed making with Jessica Goldbaum and assisted by Gordon Skinner.   Non members $40 Non member students $25 Members $15   Spaces are limited!
