Ingrid Hagan is an American-born bassoonist and Principal Bassoonist of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra. She is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied with Whitney Crockett of the Metropolitan Opera. Ingrid has appeared internationally with ensembles in Sweden, Cuba, Venezuela, Guatemala, Panama, and Germany, and has also performed as a soloist with the Breckenridge Music Festival and the Auckland Philharmonia.
Born in Saskatoon, Canada, Bede Hanley has a Bachelor of Music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, Ohio, where he studied with John Mack, legendary principal oboe of the Cleveland Orchestra. He is currently Section Principal Oboe of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and has also held positions with Spain’s Orquesta Sinfonica de Galicia and the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Canada. A Yamaha Artist, Bede has performed with many symphony and opera orchestras internationally and is in demand as a soloist, recitalist, chamber musician and teacher.
